Preschool meet and greet

We had Emily's preschool meet and great this evening, it was neat to see all the kids that will be in her class and to meet her teacher(s).  It's kind of bitter sweet at the same time, when Mac started preschool, Emily was just a baby...now my baby is starting preschool....time goes way to fast.

Baby love....

We had dinner tonight with one of John's co-workers who has the sweetest little baby.  Mac and Emily just loved on the baby and wanted to hold him lots.  It was very sweet, too bad John and I are out of the baby making business, I think they would have liked to have a brother or sister!

Crabbing....

John and Mac took the kayak out today to crab and were successful!  They had a great time!

Sounders game

Mac and John went to a Seattle Sounders game today.  They both have wanted to see a soccer game and here it's a pretty big deal with alot of fan following!  They had a great time, Mac really enjoyed himself and John said he did really well.  I'm so glad they had a great time.

New ballet class

We finally found a ballet class we liked for Emily and she loves it. Today was her second week, the teacher is fabulous with the kids. She does all kinds of stuff with them while incorporating ballet moves, its pretty neat! I have to take the pics through a window so the quality isn't the best.

County Fair

We went to our local county fair yesterday and the kids had a blast. They loved seeing all the animals, which Emily did very well with. She was nervous petting a few of them, but she did it! The kids rode rides, played a few games and had ice cream too!

A day at the zoo

Image
I had to take Mac into Seattle for a medical appointment today since we had our car I decided to hit the zoo.  It was a pretty neat zoo, the first thing Emily wanted to do was feed the Giraffe's.  I laughed, thinking there was no way she would even get close but she surprised me.  She got close enough to give him a leaf!  There was so much to see, we fed the birds, which Emily did surprisingly well, she only dropped the feeding stick once.  Mac was all over feeding anything he could and he kept bugging to go to the reptile house, which he loved.  The had robotic dinosaurs that were awesome, one even spit water at you, which Mac thought was pretty darn cool.  I think Emily's favorite was the penguins and the seal statues, she had to hug them and wanted her picture with them!  It was a long day but fun!
