The Mac Kinnon Family

Mac had a great month playing fall ball.  It's a great skill building opportunity to help the boys prepare for AAA (kid pitch) ball in the spring.  Mac did great job and worked hard.  The kids have to try out in the spring for AAA, we hope Mac will make it.  

John took a trip to fish up in Canadian waters with some buddies and brought home lots of salmon!

We enjoyed a little time playing at the fair last week, the kids loved the rides the best.  Emily is becoming a little more adventurous and Mac of course couldn't get enough thrill rides!  The afternoon was topped off with root beer floats, what a fun day!

Emily's dance group performed at the county fair last week.  She really loves being on stage and performing, after Nutcracker season she will rehearse again and compete with her group in April!  The girls all did a great job and Emily was very excited that Gran and Grandpa Robert could see her perform.

We took a trip to a local marine science center.  The kids were able to touch and feel all kinds of sea life.  It was a neat little place!

We spent a couple of days in this cute cottage.  We went to a neighboring town that had alot of shops and we drove onto the beach.  Gran and Grandpa Robert soaked up some rays while the kids built sand castles.  It was peaceful and beautiful, seeing a whole herd of horses was awesome too!  The last day the kids had a blast searching for sand dollars.  We hit the beach just at the perfect time and they had a blast finding them all.  Of course no trip is complete without a stop at the candy store....their choice was a chocolate covered marshmallow with sprinkles!

We took Gran and Grandpa Robert out to the coast of Washington for some ocean and beach time.  The Navy has a nice lodging area there, we rented a small cottage.  When we arrived the kids couldn't wait to see the beach........they just love the sand and water!  There was a rec center there also, the kids enjoyed some monkey climbing and ping pong!
