One of our hikes today was a walk through Trummelbach Falls which is a cave that had a series of 10 waterfalls in it from a glacier! We went up lots of stairs but it was so pretty. The water was so powerful it was crazy. 20,000 liters (5,283 gallons) per second. Turn up the volume on the video!
Today we started with a delicious breakfast at the hotel with eggs yogurt and croissants. Then we went out to explore! For lunch we stopped at a little restaurant on the side of the cliffs and had pizza! It was delicious. Then for dinner we got it at the hotel again. Mom had a delicious curry dish. Dad had steak skewer with salad and fries. Emily had a huge Ceasar salad and I had their world famous potato pancake. All the food was absolutely delicious! Onto France 🇫🇷!!
This town is definitely our style. Everywhere you look you have hikers, mountain bikers and extreme sport folks. We missed out for an opportunity to paraglide but still did some amazing hiking. During the winter the cows here are in the village but around May and June they drive them up on the mountain side to graze. In order to keep the grass fertilized they use what they have….cow patty’s and water mixture. See the last video.
