three robin eggs......bird watch has begun!

Monday I found another bird nest in the same spot it was last year, but it was empty.  Yesterday I saw a robin hanging around so I went to check out the nest and there was one egg in there, today a second one.  Looks like we'll have robin babies again.......we have to sell the play structure they are on before we move.  I hope the we can move the nest too........

These are the last pictures from the Outer Banks, I promise!  Emily took a liking to my uncle Fred (my dad's brother).  They enjoyed breakfast together!  And a good road stop picture on our way to the beach, after Emily fell asleep and peed in her seat!  Fun times!

Our last morning at the Outer Banks, we were able to enjoy a beautiful Easter morning.  With a 5:30 wake up to go to a sunrise service, the kids were wonderful and were very happy the Easter Bunny found them!  The sunrise service was beautiful, it was on a pier, beautiful message, sun came up as a pod of dolphins were playing in the ocean.  God's beauty doesn't get much better than this!  He is risen!  Happy Easter!

Since Mac got a special gift, Emily had to have one too, she's been eyeing Rapunzel for a while and was tickled to finally get her!

Mac had outgrown his bike and was ready for a new one.  We decided to give him a new bike while we were at the Outer Banks.  He was really surprised and figured it out pretty quick.  It's got 6 gears and hand breaks.  He says he likes the "third" gear!  Were so excited were getting closer and closer to being able to do a big long family bike ride, now we just need Emily to have the endurance!

We really did enjoy ourselves at the beach.  Mac loved his second cousin who is 13 and his friends.  They played fairly well with Mac and let him help throw water balloons and load the "balloon launcher" which I think Mac thought was the coolest thing!  The pool and hot tub were big hits, the view was awesome.  On Saturday we took Holly to the ferry to meet up with her friends to go on her next trip to St. Thomas, then she is coming back to watch Mac and Emily for us so we can go to Washington to  look for a place to live! The night before we left Emily says "I don't want to leave, this place is so beautiful".....that says it all!
