The Mac Kinnon Family

We've been crazy busy since we've been back.  The kids are reconnecting with friends and we are trying to get settled in before school and work starts next week.  Our friends invited us over for pizza tonight for New Years Eve and Mac wanted to make Butterbeer (from Harry Potter).  It was our first time making it and it was a success.  Mac did a great job and the kids loved it!!!!   We are home to watch the ball drop.....will see if we all make it to midnight.

Seattle welcomed us back with a beautiful double rainbow today.  It's been a very long two days on the road but we are glad to be back HOME!!!!!!!  Now the fun begins!

We had a fantastic Christmas in Tahoe.  It was the perfect way to wrap up our adventure.  We sure love this place!  On our way out of town we stopped by Grandma Jan's to pick up the boat and a few things we left and found Aunt Holly's gift to the kids.  They had one more gift to open!  We had a long journey tonight and should be back in Seattle tomorrow!

We spent the afternoon doing more sledding and cooking a great dinner.  We topped off the night with a little toast!  What a great day and week in Tahoe.  We love it here, it's been so much fun!!!!  We are heading back to the Northwest tomorrow!  Merry Christmas to all.....and to all a good night!

The kids were up at 4:30 this morning......we told them it was way to early and they needed to go back to sleep!  I don't think they really every went back to sleep and we finally gave in shortly before 6.  They couldn't wait to see if Santa came. Everyone was surprised and delighted with their surprises from Santa.  Emily got her ipod, Mac his new I-phone!  There was alot of fun and everyone really enjoyed all their treasures.   It was a fun morning, we all feel so very blessed!  Merry Christmas everyone.
