The Mac Kinnon Family

Emily woke up and decided she would handle breakfast.  She not only made a fruit salad but also crated a work of art!  She is so creative:)

Our Church had a cool family skate night and the kids had a blast.  It was neat to see some of the adults out there too!

Mac's team is playing good.  They have only lost one game.  It will be exciting to see how they finish up the season!

Emily and Naomi got finally got the play date they had been asking for.

We finally got to celebrate Mac's birthday with his friends.  He had a Bowling party and they all had fun.  Of course non of them are competitive.......

Today we hiked with Tamara and the kids in a trail system close to Poulsbo.  The kids had a great and even Emily likes these kinds of hikes!

We are not under contract yet but the bank has agreed to our price after some negotiations.  Now we need to get this thing under contract.

Emily was very excited to start gymnastics again.  She had so much fun in Hawaii with it.  With all the back handsprings she has been doing, I don't think she has lost a beat.  She is in the flexible one left row in the middle.

We celebrated Mac's 12th birthday today.  He got a bunch of cool things, one of which is a basketball he has been wanting.  We will officially celebrate it this weekend with some of his friends.  

We put in an offer on a house that is bank owned foreclosure.  We are not sure if it will work out because our offer is much less than the asking price.  It has been vacant for 2 years so there will be a lot of work for John.  Keeping our fingers crossed.      Front Garage Kids Bath Emily's room Master Bath Master Bedroom Master Bedroom Living Room Family room Kitchen Pickle Ball Court Front yard Side of House Spare room

We got a call from a friend that she was coaching a basketball team and wanted to know if Mac was interested.  He was excited and only missed a few practices prior to our arrival.  He knows everyone on the team and is playing good.  Today was his first game.  They started slow but turned it on.  The team is pretty stacked with a lot of good players.

Emily is getting ready for her schools Pogo Club which will be one of many clubs she will be in for this years Circus.

Our Hawaii dog is not acclimating as well as we thought he would.  Even with he pathetic dog fleece on, he is still trying to find any warm spot he can.

We are officially normal people again:)  Big week as Amity starts back to work as well as Mac, Emily and John all start school.   Wish us all luck!

While on a beautiful sunny run today Amity stopped to take this picture of Poulsbo Marina with the Olympic Mountains in the background.  We love this place!

We jumped at the opportunity to enjoy some sunshine and family time.   Keeps the kids and us from getting cabin fever.  We went to Bainbridge and took a nice walk in the woods and the kids enjoyed the park.  Same park that Emily learned to ride a bike at about 4 years ago!
