The Mac Kinnon Family

We wanted to do a family bike ride today for New Year's Eve so we went to our favorite place to ride.  Emily was so excited to be able to ride her new bike.  We took our time and had a fun ride, Emily rode her longest ride by herself....6.7 miles.  YEAH Emily!!!!!!  I see lots more rides in our future.  HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!

John and I took everyone to the airport and headed into the city to run some errands.  Holly was watching the kids and dropped Emily off for a play date and wanted to do something fun with Mac.  They headed off for lunch......of course Mac ate his weight in a burger....and a milkshake!

John wanted to hit the water one more time and drop crab pots before the year end.  Since he usually takes Mac he decided he wanted to take Emily along with a friend of our family and their daughter who is a good friend of Emily's.  They had a blast on the water and caught a big salmon but unfortunately it was one they couldn't keep.....but the did get some more crab.  Emily was really tired but enjoyed her time on the water!

Aunt Linda has never been to the northwest and hasn't been fishing in a very long time.  John thought she might enjoy some time on the water and he had to pull some crab pots so we asked if she'd like to go out. She was excited to go and they had a great time on the water.  They didn't catch anything but did get a few crabs in the crab pots.  Linda saw some seals and had a relaxing time on the water!  They all had fun.

We had a quiet day, Emily is all into her baby dolls......Linda had some fun with Mac!

We ventured into Seattle to see an amazing gingerbread house display and to show Aunt Linda, Gran and Grandpa Robert the city at Christmas time.  It's so beautifully decorated.  After touring the gingerbread houses we stopped by Westlake then down to Pike's place market.  After a stop at Ivar's for an early dinner we headed back home.  It was a great day in the city!
