The work was done.....off to play

Friday the work was done on the house so we headed off to the Outer Banks.  We stopped at "Grave Diggers" home, we've always wanted to stop when we've passed by but never taken the time.  Mac just loved all the monster trucks, they were pretty cool!  There was also a little farm yard, the kids kept saying it "smelled", Emily kept holding her nose, too cute!

After Grave Digger we went to the Wright Brothers Memorial, it was a fascinating adventure.  Mac learned he can be a "junior scout" at the state parks so after participating in a program and answer some questions about the Wright Brothers he said the "pledge" with the park ranger and received a badge.  It was pretty neat.

We then went to visit some friends, Jay and Cindy and their two adorable kids.  Mac and Emily love playing with Gracie and Sam.  Cindy cooked a fabulous dinner, we all had a great visit!  Their beautiful dog know the right place to sit!  What a great way to end our busy spring break!
