Sistine Chapel in Rome

 We had such an amazing day yesterday touring the Vatican museum, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica. There is so much history here, you could spend a week alone in the Vatican Museum and still not see everything. 

The Sistine Chapel was breathtaking. We all learn about these different places in history classes but the history really doesn’t resonate within you you see it for yourself. It’s incredibly powerful and meaningful, the artwork was incredible. We weren’t supposed to take photos or videos inside the chapel, but Mac snuck in a few….he may have to repent for doing so!
