What an imagination....

The kids had a great time this morning and were very creative.  Shortly after breakfast they both come downstairs from their room, dressed very formally.  When we asked what was going on they said they were going to a wedding.  Who we ask, Mac says he's marrying Emily.  They spend the next half an hour making invitations and directions to the wedding.  Then Grandma Jan puts on her hat and gets the rings, Mac pics some flowers from the yard and Emily decides she wants to be the flower girl instead of getting married.  So John and I now become the ones getting married again.  Grandma Jan is now the pastor, Emily the flower girl and Mac the ring bearer.  It was very cute.

Later in the morning they decide they are packing their bags and going to Texas to visit cousin Brian in a hotel. They went off on their scooters, they had a fun day chilling out, catching snakes and they played really well together today!  I love to see them use their imagination.
