Bowling with Senor Dan

John and I adopted a student from William and Mary College. Our church has a neat program where the match willing families with college students to give them a "home away from home". We thought this was a great program, being able to provide a student with a good meal, a place to do laundry or just chill out and get away from campus. We were matched up with Dan and met him last week for the first time. He is a really neat person and we are thrilled to be part of such a neat program. Mac digs Senor Dan (John started calling him senor Dan since John's learning Spanish and it's stuck) and Dan is wonderful with both kids.

Tonight we had dinner at home and decided to go bowling. Mac has been asking to go bowling for a while now and we thought it would be fun to do. Mac remembers the last time we went bowling with Parker, which was probably close to a year ago. It was a fun evening, I didn't realize John was such a good bowler. It takes a while to get through a set with Mac but he loves it and we all had fun.
