Happy 4th Birthday Emily

It's amazing how fast the kids are growing, I know it happens but it seems to happen so quick.  Emily is loosing some of her baby and toddler looks and looking like a young girl.  She brightens every day with smiles and hugs (she gives the tightest hugs) and her dad's sense of humor.  Her big personality leads to some fun and interesting days!

Of course when we asked what kind of party she wanted......a princess party, who would have guessed!  We invited two of her girlfriends over for a "princess tea party" and decorated with lots of princess garb and balloons!  John and Mac dressed up and served the girls tea.  One of her girlfriends got sick and couldn't come, Emily and Amalee had a blast together.  After tea sandwiches (in the form of tiara's, shoe and castle) she opened her presents.  She got lots of fun and neat gifts.  From new jammies, a guitar, games, new ballet bag, jewelry making kit, watch, snuggie, some awesome M&M to a "Rapunzel" doll that sings to her.  She was a bit overwhelmed but now is getting to enjoy her new things and I've had to wash her new jammies!  A great time was had by all, Happy Birthday Emily!
