16 Mile Awesome bike ride

We've been itching to do a family bike ride, Emily's was getting too big for the bike trailer so we found a "trail a bike", it's like a bike that connects to a bigger bike.  We saw them last year but Emily was too little and didn't have the stamina or coordination for it last year, but we felt she would this year.  John found a used one a few weeks ago and we finally got to try it out today. 

We went about 40 minutes away to the Olympic Discovery Trail. The trail was awesome, it went through some beautiful land, into a camp ground on a bay, then along the bay and lots more scenic views until we hit a town.  We stopped for ice cream before getting back on the bikes and Emily of course had us stop to pick flowers along the way too!  Both kids did great, we ended up riding 16 miles.  We all have sore hineys but had a great time biking and are looking forward to our next adventure!
