Day 2, Oregon to Idaho

Another 300 miles under our belt today.  Typically we will have 2 nights at most places and just the occassional overnight.  Two days of driving was long but more for John then me.  I am driving our van while he drives the truck and RV.  We felt the space would be to cramped for all of us in the truck, 2 adults, 2 kids and a dog in a truck with a small back seat doesn't sound fun.  When we have family join us....we'd have no place to put them!  It's worked out well the past two days.  I can drive ahead and take care of any miscellanous errands and get us checked into our campsite so John can just pull in.

Today we hit some yucky weather and had a 4000 ft. climb.  The RV did well....it was just slow going for John.  I stopped in Boise to get Emily a new bike.  She was looking like a giant on her bike, it was time to move her up a size!  She loves her new bike and is riding it well.  We are in the middle of nowhere at a military famcamp tonight and tomorrow night.  We are looking forward to a down day and maybe a mountain bike ride!
