Victory lap......

We left San Antonio Friday morning and spent the night last night in Fort Stockton, TX.  It was a long day and cold and rainy night so we didn't take any pictures.  Our journey today took us back into New Mexico for the second time and as we were getting close to our stop for the night I realized today was our last day driving all together.  My mom and Robert are meeting us and bringing our van back, we will have 2 vehicles again so we won't be finishing our journey in the same car!  It was a but surreal and bittersweet.  While the whole truck debacle was very stressful and crazy and we didn't realize it at the time but it was truly a blessing.  This journey has allowed us to spend so much more time together being in one vehicle....while the kids may disagree it was been pretty special!  John said it best.....all 48 states are checked off........were on our victory lap home!
