Rolling Hills Honey

On Saturday, Dad and I made our own honey! It's a cool process of how you get the honey from the frames. We had to scrape the frames, then it would go into a strainer then drip into a bucket. Then we let it sit for a while then opened a hole in the bottom of the bucket and let it drip into jars. We got a lot of bottles and it was really fun! Luckily we didn't get stung by any bees. We have been putting honey on pretty much everything and my favorites are apples and honey, and bananas, peanut butter, and honey. We named our honey Rolling Hills Honey, and made labels to put on all the jars. Here are some pictures of all our honey!

I can't believe that you got all that honey from one harvest. How many hives do you have? It's a beautiful color - the bees must be getting into some light yellow flowers?? I love it!
