Mac's new preschool

We decided to switch Mac's preschools. We didn't feel it was the right fit for us and searched for a new preschool, which was tough. I got lucky and found a great program that I've heard wonderful things about. He started yesterday, I was a little nervous not knowing how he would do having to switch schools again so soon, he did great yesterday. One of the nice benefits of the program is the teachers meet the kids at the car and walk them to their class rooms, and when you pick the kids up, they bring them to your car, meaning I don't have to get Emily out of the car to take him into school or pick him up which will come in real handy this winter. Today Mac wanted to do the drop off and pick up from the car instead of walking him inside (which I did yesterday), he thought he was one cool cat. John and I are thrilled he is digging his new school!

WOW....Mac you are the man...Valet service before you're four...Hope the new school works out, I,m sure Mac will adapt quickly....

Hanging with Aunt Christina

Friday night Christina came out from LA to hang with us. John headed out early Saturday morning to spend a week fishing in Mexico with Jimmy for his 40th birthday!  Saturday Christina and the kids played almost all day long.  From shooting targets with Mac to being a princess, then playing Zombies with the kids and lots of Uno....all before lunch!  We hung out at the pool for a little in the afternoon, then met Mike and Sarah for some dinner and arcade games.  What an awesome way to end our last night with Grandma Cheryl, Mike and Christina.  I think everyone had a blast and I think Christina slept pretty well Saturday night!!!!!!

Movie with the kids

The forecast for today was a high of 100 degrees with humidity so what else is there too do on a hot day but hit the movies. I surprised the kids with lunch then we went and saw Toy Story 3 in 3D, the kids loved it. Emily did much better than I expected and only got bored the last 20 minutes or so. Mac of course couldn't take his eyes off the movie.
