Hiking to the Hollywood sign
One of Emily's "wishes" was to hike to the Hollywood sign. Aunt Christina and Uncle Simon live in LA really close to Griffith Park and were more than happy to organize our hike. Grandma Cheryl, Theresa and Mike all joined us as well.
It was a hot hike but not too strenous. Emily was excited to see the sign close up, but thought the hike was a little too long! She did her back hand spring at the top! It was about 3 hours and 7.5 miles. We had a great time with family and catching up. Of course everyone loved some fro-yo and smoothies afterwards!
Theresa had an awesome spread for us to munch on when we were done and we visited some more. Of course we had to have some Maggie time too, she is too darn adorable! We really enjoy hanging out with the Orange County crew!!!! We kidnapped Mike, Sarah and Maggie for a few days. We are excited to have visitors in our RV and to have some more Maggie time. Emily just adores here, she wanted to read her a story for bed tonight.
