Sheep and lambs everwhere

Sheep and lambs are everywhere here, there’s so much land and they run free for the most part. They are along roads and have been at several of the historic areas we’ve stopped at.  Of course my curiosity peaks when I see so many of these sheep, different sizes, colors, etc., but the biggest question I had was why do these sheep have colored dots on them,  so I start googling and getting lost in the land of the internet.   

The dots are from Rams, who wear paint packs on a harness so they can leave their “mark” when a sheep has been “serviced”.  I can never look at a dot the same way…..  In case your also curious, sometimes they use a special “color” to know which Ram provided their services…..
