The Mac Kinnon Family

After church we spent a few minutes at home then we went to a friends house for dinner. Hanging out and enjoying a good meal and some fun games made it a perfect day. Heading to the outer banks for some family time rounded out the day.

Sorry for the delay in pictures, Easter was a busy day then we immediately headed out to the outer banks, were home now so we'll get caught up! Easter morning was fun, the kids were up at the crack of dawn and asking to go see if the Easter bunny had come. The kids came down and were thrilled to see their baskets. Mac got a game for his leapster and some candy, Emily got a pair of Dora summer jammies and some candy as well. The Easter bunny forgot to hide the eggs so we went upstairs and opened the gifts from Grandma Cheryl. The Easter Bunny hid eggs and the kids came down and found them. It was too cute! Grandma Cheryl sent a bunch of great goodies for the kids, Emily loves her Dora purse and how won't go anywhere without it!

We were waiting for John to color Easter eggs today, but he had some delays with his flight and won't be home until later this evening so the kids and I got the eggs colored for the Easter bunny! The kids had a great time and Emily seemed to love the stickers and paint the most. Mac was concentrating heavily at times (notice his tongue sticking out...that's how you can tell he's thinking hard!) and we made an egg for each of the kids, John, Willie, myself and one for Jesus since he is what tomorrow is all about!

We received a few Easter packages for the kids over the past few days. Since I didn't want tomorrow morning to be too crazy I let the kids open a box from Grandma Jan. The kids were thrilled with all the cool things they got, Mac loves his sponge bob stuff, even though he doesn't ever watch sponge bob, he has some fascination with it, maybe it's because I don't let him watch it. Anyway Emily was in Dora heaven with a bat, ball, shoes and a book. Both kids got a wind spinner thing and put them outside and were amazed at how they spun (fortunately it's a windy day today)! Thanks Grandma Jan! Tomorrow the Easter bunny comes and they have another package waiting for them from Grandma Cheryl!

Emily got a 2 piece Dora swimsuit from Uncle Jim and Aunt Toni in the mail the other day, she likes wearing around over her clothes. Today she had Dora wrapped up in the top, maybe it's a new fashion statement?

Mac had his second Easter program today. Poor guy has a nasty cold (so do I) thanks to Emily sharing with us! The second video is a little shaky, Emily was on my lap and didn't sit still! Glad Easter break is here!
