The Mac Kinnon Family

We are dog sitting for a friend, Ollie is a 10 year old medium sized dog who is a ball of fun. He is wonderful with the kids and Willie, his only issue is severe separation anxiety. So Ollie goes everywhere we go. I was a little worried how he would do when I left him in the truck while I was at the gym, but he was great, loves just going where we go. The kids are in love with him, it's so fun to see! It will be a fun weekend!!!

Mac has his final music program tonight. The kids all dressed up like animals, birds, or characters from some of the songs they've been singing. Mac wasn't too interested in participating, seemed a little tired or bored. The program was cute and a little "slow/long" to watch but overall nicely done. We had a pot luck dinner afterwards it was a good night and we had two tired kids!

Today was Emily's last music class until the fall. She really loves the class and the teacher Mrs. C is wonderful with the kids. She gave them all bubbles at the end of class. I'm glad things are ending for the season and summer is coming!

We spent this afternoon at Busch Gardens. They had a "Ramp Jam" event in which skateboarders, in-line skaters and BMX bikers were doing stunts. Mac loved it, Emily could have cared less but enjoyed hanging out in the sun. After the event was over we hit a few rides, surprisingly Emily wanted to go on the carousel, which was step in the right direction, she use to be afraid of the horses! A pink horse won her over! It was a great afternoon.

As soon as Mac's eyes opened this morning he gave me my gift and card. He made a trivet at his preschool, it was awesome. Mac also sang me a song which was very special. John and the kids made my morning, it was great. We headed off to church, then to brunch and off to Busch Gardens in the afternoon (more pictures coming). It was a great day and I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful family.

Our robin babies are growing, it's so fun to watch them. The mom/dad robin was bringing worm after worm while we were watching them. The male would puff up and the female brought in a worm, it was cool to see. The kids are enjoying it too, although their ability to play on their play set is limited since we don't want them disturbing the birds!

Mac had two t-ball games this week, he's really doing well and seems to enjoy it. John was able to grab a few more pics today!
