The Mac Kinnon Family

The kids wrote their letters to Santa, Emily did her's on her own!   

We are in the craziness of dress rehearsals for the Nutcracker....Emily is one cute mouse!  

Mac's class made a story box about the exodus in the bible.  Each child in the class drew pictures to match a certain part of the story.  After it was complete each child was able to take it home for a night.  Mac loved telling the story and we loved hearing it and seeing all the great artwork!  

While Grandma and Emily were having lunch one day, Emily looks at Grandma and touched the "skin" on her neck and asked her why old people have this thing hanging?  Grandma took it in stride....and told her it happens when you get older.  Oh Emily......

Mac's 2nd grade school picture turned out great :)!  

Last weekend on our way to Disney on Ice we stopped for lunch at the mall.  We were surprised as we were eating to see Santa walk by.  After we were done eating we went to check it out, I was expecting it to take a few visits for Emily to get close to him.  Surprisingly she was excited to see him and jumped right into his lap.  Both kids told him what they wanted and Santa was awesome! They still have to write their letter to Santa and are getting excited for the holiday!  

Jan was in the car with the kids today, they asked her for a piece of gum.  She said no, then they tried numerous times/ways to ask her to which she kept saying no.  Mac tried to ask just one more time, Jan told him to stop asking, she wasn't going to say no again.  So Mac says "so that means you'll say yes"!
