The Mac Kinnon Family

We had a fun Christmas eve.  After our snowhoe adventure we headed into downtown Tahoe, it's so beautiful.  The kids wanted to ice skate but with the time involved and price it wasn't worth it, then we saw the "jumpy" things.  All 3 kids wanted to do it, so it was a win, win!  The all jumped, Mac was able to flip forward and backward, Emily and Brian were just happy to jump!  After a great church service and yummy dinner the kids were allowed to open one present.  All 3 were tickled with their treasures and Aunt Toni gave them all 3 new pajamas, a family tradition she is carrying on.  They loved their new jammies!!!!  They all went to sleep pretty quickly...so Santa would come!              

While we were snowshoeing, Grandma Jan took the kids outside for snow fun and sledding!  

Christmas eve morning Jim, Toni, John and I headed out for another snowshoe hike.  We were going to go for awhile so we left the kids with Grandma and headed out in search of a trail.  We found one the was started, but it didn't last long so we had to make our own trail for a good portion of our hike.  We found a neat rock and all 4 tried to get up on it, which was a funny sight in itself!  It was a beautiful hike and a great workout, we had a blast with each other and being in such a beautiful place!  

We had more snow Sunday in Tahoe.  The kids sled for a while, we went snowshoeing for a few hours.  The kids did well but were definitely tired.  Jan and Toni brought lots of crafts for the kids, from snowflakes, to snowmen and a gingerbread house!  There was also a little time for playing the wii and we settled in for a big glass of wine in the evening!
