The Mac Kinnon Family

After a hike and puppy class Finn passed out in the truck on the way home!

Today was Finn's 3rd week of puppy class.  We let Mac be the handler this week and he did a great job working with Finn.

We wanted to hike this morning with Finn and found a lighthouse hike.  It was a popular place, Finn did great for his first hike!

Emily's birthday is in about a week and a half.  With Thanksgiving around the corner and Mac having a swim meet the weekend after her birthday we explored options for her to celebrate with her friends.  Peter Pan was playing at a local theater this weekend only.  They offered a kids "VIP" package where they got to go up on stage after bows to dance with performers and then had their pictures taken with the performers.  I took two of Emily's friends, we had lunch and the play.  They all had a great time.  Afterwards they gave her a gift, she got rollerblades, which she's wanted for months!  She did well on them and I'm sure they will get alot of use!  She seemed to have a great day.

The 4th grade class at the kids school presented chapel today.  They did a great job and sang some beautiful songs!

Emily had 2 girls over for a sleepover last night and of course they didn't go to bed early.  I think they were up until at least 10 or 10:30, then were up at daylight.  This is how we found Emily at 7 pm tonight........guess the lack of sleep caught up with her!  Too cute!

John was gone for three weeks and got home this past weekend.  It was so nice to have a day off together, of course the kids wanted to go to the beach.  It was a fun day.....Emily was even more excited when her friends came too.  Sand, sun and fun....great family day!
