Back to college living

We are getting ready for our big move and decided to sell some of our furniture. We have too much stuff to begin with and since we are buying a house we really want a new couch, recliner (that match) and flat screen TV. We were selling 2 couches, recliner, queen bed frame & mattress, Johns 43" older HDTV, an old 27" TV, set of tv table trays and our big pantry/storage shelf thing. We posted all of these things on craigs list at 11 pm on Saturday night. By 3 pm Sunday the only things that remained were one couch and the pantry. The couch sold yesterday. We figured it would take a while to sell everything but were shocked how desirable all of our junk was. So now we are left with nothing to sit on and a tiny TV. We have lawn chairs and a chair from our travel trailer. Ahhh....back to college living!


Were having our garage sale this weekend....hopefully everyone snatch up our stuff then too!

We just got back from RV trip of 9 days -- did not want to come back.

Hanging with Aunt Christina

Friday night Christina came out from LA to hang with us. John headed out early Saturday morning to spend a week fishing in Mexico with Jimmy for his 40th birthday!  Saturday Christina and the kids played almost all day long.  From shooting targets with Mac to being a princess, then playing Zombies with the kids and lots of Uno....all before lunch!  We hung out at the pool for a little in the afternoon, then met Mike and Sarah for some dinner and arcade games.  What an awesome way to end our last night with Grandma Cheryl, Mike and Christina.  I think everyone had a blast and I think Christina slept pretty well Saturday night!!!!!!

Movie with the kids

The forecast for today was a high of 100 degrees with humidity so what else is there too do on a hot day but hit the movies. I surprised the kids with lunch then we went and saw Toy Story 3 in 3D, the kids loved it. Emily did much better than I expected and only got bored the last 20 minutes or so. Mac of course couldn't take his eyes off the movie.
