Happy First Birthday Emily

It's hard to believe one year has passd already. It seems like yesterday we were in the hospital having Emily. It's been a great year watching Emily grow and the bond between Mac and Emily blossom. Emily's personality is much different than Mac's, she is definitely going to be more of a challenge than Mac! We feel very blessed to have two beautiful wonderful children.

Emily got to celebrate her birthday again today, lucky girl has had two celebrations. Today our neighbors and my mom (via webcam) joined us in celebrating Emily's birthday. She wasn't as into her cake as she was during her first party but she was fun to watch none the less! We enjoyed a mexican fiesta dinner and the kids had cupcakes while the adults had a Cold Stone ice cream cake! Emily was spoiled rotten, she got a lot of wonderful presents, it's fun to see the girly toys and clothes! There's two video's below along with some pics! Happy Birthday Emily!

The second video is great!!!! Emily is walking good with the new toy, and her sweet little voice and wave good bye is precious....

Hanging with Aunt Christina

Friday night Christina came out from LA to hang with us. John headed out early Saturday morning to spend a week fishing in Mexico with Jimmy for his 40th birthday!  Saturday Christina and the kids played almost all day long.  From shooting targets with Mac to being a princess, then playing Zombies with the kids and lots of Uno....all before lunch!  We hung out at the pool for a little in the afternoon, then met Mike and Sarah for some dinner and arcade games.  What an awesome way to end our last night with Grandma Cheryl, Mike and Christina.  I think everyone had a blast and I think Christina slept pretty well Saturday night!!!!!!

Movie with the kids

The forecast for today was a high of 100 degrees with humidity so what else is there too do on a hot day but hit the movies. I surprised the kids with lunch then we went and saw Toy Story 3 in 3D, the kids loved it. Emily did much better than I expected and only got bored the last 20 minutes or so. Mac of course couldn't take his eyes off the movie.
