Darn Dora doll

A few days ago Emily got a very cute Dora doll that says cute things when you press her belly or give her a hug. Of course Emily cannot go to bed now without her (and the other 3 Dora dolls she has). Two nights ago I kept getting woken up in the middle of the night by hearing the lovely Dora doll talking, Emily must have been rolling on her or something. After a few times I couldn't deal anymore so I got up and moved the doll to the end of her crib.

Thinking ahead last night I moved the doll before I went to bed to the end of her crib and the night was well, but I was awaken at 6:30 this morning with Dora talking, Emily grabbed her as soon as she woke up. Of course she goes with us everywhere too, I'm getting very tired of hearing Dora.......

Take out the batteries, and tell Emily that Dora has a cold and can't talk right now.

Hanging with Aunt Christina

Friday night Christina came out from LA to hang with us. John headed out early Saturday morning to spend a week fishing in Mexico with Jimmy for his 40th birthday!  Saturday Christina and the kids played almost all day long.  From shooting targets with Mac to being a princess, then playing Zombies with the kids and lots of Uno....all before lunch!  We hung out at the pool for a little in the afternoon, then met Mike and Sarah for some dinner and arcade games.  What an awesome way to end our last night with Grandma Cheryl, Mike and Christina.  I think everyone had a blast and I think Christina slept pretty well Saturday night!!!!!!

Movie with the kids

The forecast for today was a high of 100 degrees with humidity so what else is there too do on a hot day but hit the movies. I surprised the kids with lunch then we went and saw Toy Story 3 in 3D, the kids loved it. Emily did much better than I expected and only got bored the last 20 minutes or so. Mac of course couldn't take his eyes off the movie.
