Emily finally got her ice cream

With the rainy day today, Karen and I headed to the gym for a workout and Pappy took the kids to an indoor arcade. On our way home Pappy called (11 am) and asked if he could get Emily ice cream on the way home, all she has been asking for from him was ice cream. I asked him to tell her after lunch if she eats well they can go get ice cream. So as promised after lunch we walked down to the corner ice cream shop near my dad's house. It started pouring rain but the kids didn't care, they shared a marshmallow sundae and a bubble gum icee. The walk back wasn't so fun in the pouring rain but Emily was happy as a clam!
