The Mac Kinnon Family

I realized we hadn't gotten many pictures of Emily playing t-ball.  The kids rotate positions, Emily got to play first base today!  It's a busy position.  It's cute to watch the kids, they are still learning the game but not picking as many daises as I thought they would!  One of Emily's best buddies is on her team too....which makes it more fun for her.  

Mac had a baseball game tonight.  Typical NW weather...it was drizzly and cool.  Emily and her buddy Naomi were staying warm with Grandma Jan!

I had to work at 6 am on Mothers Day.  When I got out of the shower John was so sweet to get up and make me a hot cup of coffee.  When I got downstairs I had a lovely array of cards and a beautiful bouquet of flowers.  I was lucky enough to sneak out of work early and we got to have a nice dinner together.  John and the kids made me feel very special!

All year long at the kids school they work to get on "clubs" for the schools annual circus.  The kids love the excitement and almost everyone does something.  This year was the "20th year" of the circus!  Each of the lower classes "perform" an act and the older kids do alot of the more complicated things.  Emily worked hard an was on the pogo club and cartwheel club in addition to being a pixie for her class and doing a "Scottish performance".  Mac was on the pogo club, spinner club, monkey club, unicycle club, head standing club and juggling club.  It was really special when Mr. Gilman gave Mac a special trophy for being the youngest juggler in the school.  Mac really worked hard for all the clubs but he really pushed himself to learn how to juggle in a few weeks.  All the kids did an amazing job and were all super excited about all the events.  There are several videos of our kids and their various performances, you may have to tilt you he...

Halibut season has opened and John really wanted to get out and fish a few times before we move.  He was thrilled to get his first Halibut of the season, it was huge!!!!!!!

It was a chilly night at Mac's baseball game. Grandma Jan arrived yesterday, Emily and her friend Naomi were curled up with Grandma Jan to stay warm!

Both kids have either a verse or poem to remember for their schools speech meet.  Emily has a verse and Mac a poem.  They both are ready!
