I really feel special!

I ran into one of Mac's classmates mom today and asked her if she enjoyed her wonderful song on Mothers Day. She looked at me confused and I told her they learned a beautiful song in class which Mac had sung to me, her daughter was there and she said "I didn't remember it". I'm so proud of Mac and feel so very special!

Yesterday I told him to tell his teachers THANK YOU for teaching him that song, it was special. I walked him into class today and thanked his teacher, she said the first thing Mac said to her yesterday, with a big smile on her face was "My mommy loved my song"! What a wonderful little man we have!

Mac is just amazing... For him to learn that song and then remember it for Mommie's special day is almost beyond belief... Good job Mac...

What a priceless gift----Mac is such a sweetheart!! (I'm glad I can say that now because he probably won't like being called that when he gets to be a teenager!)

Hanging with Aunt Christina

Friday night Christina came out from LA to hang with us. John headed out early Saturday morning to spend a week fishing in Mexico with Jimmy for his 40th birthday!  Saturday Christina and the kids played almost all day long.  From shooting targets with Mac to being a princess, then playing Zombies with the kids and lots of Uno....all before lunch!  We hung out at the pool for a little in the afternoon, then met Mike and Sarah for some dinner and arcade games.  What an awesome way to end our last night with Grandma Cheryl, Mike and Christina.  I think everyone had a blast and I think Christina slept pretty well Saturday night!!!!!!

Movie with the kids

The forecast for today was a high of 100 degrees with humidity so what else is there too do on a hot day but hit the movies. I surprised the kids with lunch then we went and saw Toy Story 3 in 3D, the kids loved it. Emily did much better than I expected and only got bored the last 20 minutes or so. Mac of course couldn't take his eyes off the movie.
