T-ball opening day
Mac is playing t-ball this spring, it's real t-ball with games so this is a new experience for all of us. In the past he's done little "sessions" but not playing against other teams. It's a pretty serious sport here, he's had to practice twice a week for the past month and his games start this week, often 2 games a week. Thank goodness it only goes until mid-June.
Today was "opening" day. All the baseball teams (t-ball on up to regular baseball) assembled today, over 900 kids all in uniforms, it was pretty cool to see. Mac is on the "Nationals", he is very excited. In addition to the opening ceremony today they got their team picture and individual pictures taken. One of his best buddies Dixon is on his team and so is one of his classmates from preschool Mac's first game is Thursday night against the Mets, he's really excited!
