Christmas Eve

After church tonight we has a great dinner and then read the Christmas story from the bible.  Mac was great and stopped me to tell us some stuff he learned about the wise men in the story, what a great gift of God, the birth of Jesus!

After the story we let the kids open one gift.  Mac chose one from Holly, she had gotten him some awesome wash clothes and a towel with his name on it for swimming which was cool.  Mac was a little sad as he had wanted something to play with and we didn't think about it before he opened the gift.  We let him open a second gift after Emily opened hers, he got a awesome Hess truck/airplane from Pappy which he was very tickled with.  Emily got a cute tinkerbell shirt, pants and awesome tutu, purse (with chapstick inside).  Emily thought the chapstick was awesome, putting it on all of our lips then she had to put on the outfit over her jammies. Later we put out our reindeer food, carrot for Rudolph and cookies and milk for Santa.  We'll see if Santa comes.......
