Beautiful Boston
We had a jam packed day in Boston today. We started early by taking the subway in, instead of having to drive and deal with traffic in the city. We hopped off at Fenway Park for a few pics then caught a trolley to tour the city. We hopped off at the Boston Tea Party Museum to learn about what happened here several hundreds of years ago. The tour was phenomenal, the folks in costume played an excellent part. We had a "town meeting", then onto the ship we went to toss the tea......then learned what happened "afterwards". It was so well done and I think we all learned alot.
After the Tea Party Jan and the kids hopped back on the trolley while John and I walked to Paul Revere's House. The restoration of the house was very cool, the kids couldn't believe how small it was. Next we followed the "Freedom Trail" for a while viewing more historical sights. Later we hopped on the trolley again to head back to the subway, we passed "Cheers" along the way. We didn't have time to stop but I would have loved to. We topped off the night with a "Whalburger"....which was delicious. It was a long day but we all had fun and learned alot.
