Louisville Slugger Factory

Our fun adventure today was a trip to Louisville to the Louisville Slugger factory.   The city has lots of neat architecture.  We stumbled upon a festival with some great food, a perfect place for lunch! Aftwards we hit the factory for a tour to see how they make their baseball bats.  The tour was very cool.  It was amazing to see how the bats are made and how many they actually do.  After our tour we checked out some fun stuff in their museum and the kids got to play around a little bit.  They even had a "Ripleys" area for baseball stuff.  Mac got to hold a bat that belongs to Ken Griffey, Jr and John held a bat of Cal Ripkin, Jr.  We ended with Mac in the batting cages and he broke his first wooden bat.  He was kind of freaked.....but then excited that he actually broke a bat.
