Mac's 4 year old check up

We had a very busy day today which included Mac's 4 year old check up. He weighed in at 41.6 pounds (80th percentile) and is 40 3/4 inches tall (60th percentile). His body mass index is 93! Doc says he looks great and all is well. He will need 4 more shots before kindergarten, poor guy, I thought kids got a break from all the vaccines! I opted to wait as he has been poked and prodded alot over the past year and wanted a happy doctors visit without getting poked!

It's so hard to believe he's 4, such a handsome young man. Next visit is to the dentist for his 6 month checkup!

Glad to hear that Mac is starting the New Year well and healthy. Must have something to do with eating that pork and sauerkraut on New Year's day.......
Hope my "Little Buddy" don't have to get all 4 shots at one time.

Hanging with Aunt Christina

Friday night Christina came out from LA to hang with us. John headed out early Saturday morning to spend a week fishing in Mexico with Jimmy for his 40th birthday!  Saturday Christina and the kids played almost all day long.  From shooting targets with Mac to being a princess, then playing Zombies with the kids and lots of Uno....all before lunch!  We hung out at the pool for a little in the afternoon, then met Mike and Sarah for some dinner and arcade games.  What an awesome way to end our last night with Grandma Cheryl, Mike and Christina.  I think everyone had a blast and I think Christina slept pretty well Saturday night!!!!!!

Movie with the kids

The forecast for today was a high of 100 degrees with humidity so what else is there too do on a hot day but hit the movies. I surprised the kids with lunch then we went and saw Toy Story 3 in 3D, the kids loved it. Emily did much better than I expected and only got bored the last 20 minutes or so. Mac of course couldn't take his eyes off the movie.
