Last day of water country...for the year!

We have had a busy few days! Yesterday we caught up on a few errands then hung out with our neighbors for a "block" party. It was a great and fun evening, the kids were up past their bedtime but had a great time, aside from being eaten by mosquitos!

Of course they wanted to sleep in this morning but we had to get up for church. After church we headed to water country since they are closing this weekend for the winter. Our neighbors joined us, Julia is 5 and TJ is 8, they were great buddies for Mac. Both kids played hard and Emily fell asleep in the stroller on the way to the car. Mac was beyond tired, Emily seemed to be reenergized from her 20 minute catnap. I couldn't resist this picture of Emily zonked!

Gosh... She is soo pretty, even when she's sleeping.
Hershey also closed their Waterpark this week, a sure sign of the end of Summer... Oh where did it go???

Hanging with Aunt Christina

Friday night Christina came out from LA to hang with us. John headed out early Saturday morning to spend a week fishing in Mexico with Jimmy for his 40th birthday!  Saturday Christina and the kids played almost all day long.  From shooting targets with Mac to being a princess, then playing Zombies with the kids and lots of Uno....all before lunch!  We hung out at the pool for a little in the afternoon, then met Mike and Sarah for some dinner and arcade games.  What an awesome way to end our last night with Grandma Cheryl, Mike and Christina.  I think everyone had a blast and I think Christina slept pretty well Saturday night!!!!!!

Movie with the kids

The forecast for today was a high of 100 degrees with humidity so what else is there too do on a hot day but hit the movies. I surprised the kids with lunch then we went and saw Toy Story 3 in 3D, the kids loved it. Emily did much better than I expected and only got bored the last 20 minutes or so. Mac of course couldn't take his eyes off the movie.
